The PANORAMIC axis is equipped with ball bearings to ensure precise, fluid movements free from parasitic vibrations. The movements can be directly adjusted thanks to the fluid friction system FDS of the ball joint.

The FDS system , mounted on the PANORAMIC and TILT axes, also ensures perfect operation of the ball head at any temperature, with any type of equipment and whatever the load. Combined with the new friction indicator, the lever and wheel with improved ergonomics provide total control over the 504HD ball head.

The 504HD ball head has been designed to support a load of up to 7.5 kg, i.e. complete photographic equipment with numerous accessories. The CBS counterbalance system can be set to 4 default values covering a range of weights (0 kg, 2.5 kg, 5 kg and 7.5 kg).

Leveling the ball head is easy with the 75mm diameter half ball and backlit spirit level. Two 3/8” threads located on the top plate are provided to attach accessories (arms, monitors, etc.) to the ball head directly and securely. This reduces installation time, keeps the camera's accessory shoe available and eliminates the need for another mounting system.
