Sony's PXW-FX9K XDCAM 6K camera system is a perfect fit whatever your project - documentaries, events, reality TV or corporate productions. The PXW-FX9K is equipped with a 6K Exmor R CMOS sensor with oversampling allowing you to capture 4K images with cinematic depth of field. The E-mount of the camera is made of stainless steel being compatible with all E-mount lenses. A 28-135mm f/4G OSS Sony E-mount zoom lens is included. It covers full frame format and offers an f/4 to f/22 aperture range. Input and output functions of the PXW-FX9K camera include 12G-SDI and HDMI outputs for 4K, 3G- SDI for HD, plus genlock and timecode when using a multi-camera setup. The hybrid AF autofocus system offers high precision and can even detect the human form automatically with 561 detection points. Advanced image stabilization is achieved via the FX9's internal gimbal. The result is shots so smooth you'll feel like you've used a stabilizer. Its 4-channel audio recording lets you use external microphones and simultaneously record ambient sound with the internal mics. The camera offers 15+ stops of dynamic range and records in XQD 10-bit 4:2:2 to 2 format supporting simultaneous and relay recording through the memory card slots, as well as multiple backup recording modes using proxy files. The PXW-FX9 can record in UHD (3840 x 2160) and HD (1920 x 1080) at a variable frame rate of 1 fps to 60 fps in XAVC-I, XAVC-Long and MPEG HD formats. And with the next firmware update, it will be able to record HD at 180 fps and output 4K / 2K in 16-bit format at up to 120 fps. It offers a dual ISO of 800/4000 ideal for low-light situations or when using a slower lens. Its 7-step variable HD electronic filter can operate in automatic or manual mode, smoothly adjusting the density from 1/4 to 1/128. The camera' The FX9 includes an integrated Multi-Interface (MI) shoe and comes with a BP-U35 battery, BC-U1A battery charger, AC adapter with two power cords, body cap, viewfinder, eyepiece , remote control and USB cable. The PXW-FX9K is also compatible with the separately available XDCA-FX9 extension unit, which provides ENG shoulder-type support, network functionality and a slot for an optional wireless audio receiver.
