The MVH500AH is a lightweight ball head with a larger plate for attaching HDSLR housings and a sliding plate for balancing the latest cameras with interchangeable lenses. The 500 ensures smoother shots with better control, and can support equipment up to 5 kg. This is the most compact video head of the successful Bridging Technology™ range, it replaces the Mafrotto 701HDV video head.
Beautifully fluid shots: The 500 is equipped with fluid cartridges on the 'pan' and 'tilt' axes, so as to guarantee fluidity, control and precision with each movement of the camera.
Faster, easier and safer use: the side locking system makes removing the device from the head from above easier and faster. No additional security lock is required.

The 500 has a pre-set 2.4 kg counterbalance system, but it supports equipment that can weigh up to 5 kg. The 500 has an Easy Link 3/8” connector which allows the installation of an external monitor or other accessory equipment. The MVH500AH ball head can be combined with a tripod dedicated to mirrorless cameras, a traditional photo tripod, a monopod or other supports.
