The Smoke Factory Captain D. feels as comfortable in the field of Rock'n'Roll as in the theater. It is the versatile machine par excellence. With a power of 1300 watts, it is possible to play on stages of common size. Installed in a touring flight case from the German brand Amptown, the machine can be set up in seconds by simply removing the front cover. The 5 liter container of liquid is housed in the rear part and can remain connected during the trip. Due to the extremely efficient management of the available energy, the smoke output is considerably higher than with many comparable devices from the Far East. Equipped as standard with 5-pin DMX512 inputs / outputs and a 3-pin analogue connector, it can be controlled via DMX, wireless remote control or wired remote control (optional). Of course, the Captain D., like almost all Smoke Factory machines, can also be used in stand-alone mode or with the built-in timer. In stand-alone mode, the nebulization process is started by pressing the Enter key once. If this button is not pressed several times, the machine fogs up until the limit temperature is reached. Permanent temperature control on the microprocessors ensures that the evaporation temperature is always correct. This ensures that no harmful substances are produced by too hot evaporation or that the device "spits out" unevaporated fluid.
