Introducing the Sony VENICE 2 8K The Sony VENICE 2 8K is a professional cinema camera that offers an interchangeable 36x24mm full-frame sensor, 16-stop dynamic range and recording up to ProRes 4K 4444 and 422 internally, on a card ASX high speed. It can film and record 8.6K footage at 30 fps and 8.2K at 17:9 or 16:9 up to 60 fps. Its sensor boosts base ISO sensitivity to an impressive 800/3200 for sharper images in a variety of situations. Its 8.6K sensor can be swapped with the original VENICE's 6K sensor to enable higher frame rate recording with the original camera. As with the original VENICE, it comes with a detachable PL mount that supports Cooke / i Technology lens metadata protocols, allowing you to work with a cinematic style from vintage to modern. Remove the PL mount to reveal a Sony E-mount for compatibility with the wide range of E-mount lenses. Finally, the camera incorporates 8 motorized ND filters that range from clear to 8 stops in 1-stop increments.
